Description:
PharmTECH to Pharmacist showcases the collaboration between Walgreens and NSU's Barry and Judy Silverman College of Pharmacy to strengthen the pharmacy technician–to–pharmacist pipeline through the PharmStart initiative.
PharmStart is designed to reduce prerequisite costs while providing a clear, supportive pathway for professional advancement. Upon completion of the prerequisites, participants will gain insight into the Pharm.D. admissions process, explore the curriculum and hands-on experiential learning model, and learn how student support services—combined with Walgreens' workforce development efforts—can help shape a successful future in pharmacy.
